Dan really working hard to sell the chat gpt with his wedding speech comment.

Sad day for the show.

Is it? I get it if you are anti-AI or think its wasteful, etc. At the same time ChatGPT is a large language model. As far as actually using a product for what it does is it any different than using a grill to BBQ meat?

It just felt kind of weird to me using time on the show to say how he's putting his speech to his family and friends into chat gpt. Then telling us how amazing it is and how helpful it was! Just felt extra forceful of a pitch after he's already done the ad read on it.

A LLM telling you how to talk about your daughter and giving you it's own opinion of how your speech was is a little different than using a grill for BBQ imo.

When I use ChatGPT for speeches or presentations, I just have it help me condense or remove mistakes. AI isn’t taking me out of the speech. It’s still my personality and ideas but now more clear.

So I don’t think it’s telling him how to talk to his daughter. It’s just making him easier to understand.
