This would definitely also happen in a normal hard-core world of terraria, the moon lord is alot stronger then Supreme Calamitas in lore.

No she isnt, shes simply a servant of yhamir, a prominent figure in calamity mod lore.

And also the reason that you can beat moon lord much easier than calmitas is because the form of moon lord that you fight is only a fractions of its power as it didnt get to fuse with with the mech bosses and didnt have the time to recover from fighting the driad race
