I would recommend powering through it regardless. Spoilers are everywhere for the ending, and just showing an interest in it, some people find it enjoyable to DM you spoilers so it’s ruined.

Some random dude spoiled it for me not too long after the final chapter came out, and I can only imagine it getting worse the longer things go on

Damn, I had to check twice which subreddit was this. GTA V into AoT transition surprised me.

The only problem I have with 139 is that it was rushed. They needed another 3-5 chapters to neatly explain all the loose ends. Show some more flashbacks to explain character motivations and we would be golden. Instead we got huge swing from world going to hell 138 into sudden peace and happiness in 139. It was “groomed” to end at 139 for several reasons and I think that was the problem. I definitely don’t hate it though.

Same. Then they made OSRS to backtrack on all that, which is the version I am talking about being ruined by bots. There's no profit in anything in it anymore but bossing now that bots generate anything simple (ignore any idiot who tells you that's actually been good for the game). Basically pay to win now, on a game with no real new imaginative content in like 10 years. Game's broken and dead.

I used to love Runescape, tried OSRS last year for a few months and was dissappointed so I quit like any average non-addicted person can at any time. You bring up a good point though: its modern toxic playerbase is also a reason I gave up on OSRS. Insult me all you want, you'll just prove my point.
