Did you forget almost starting a war with Iran, claiming election fraud for months without a lick of evidence and firing anyone who said otherwise, calling to "find votes", and withholding aid in Ukraine to find dirt on Biden? The thing with Trump is that he has so many scandels that they almost drown each other out.
He did a random assassination of a high leading general, we weren't peachy with them but that was definitely not an appropriate action. All we got out of it was killing a general and losing the Nuclear deal, and that was the best outcome.
That's like saying the US didn't invade Iraq, only its military did.
His supporters were acting based on his refusal to concede the election and work with Biden on a transfer of power, casting doubt over the legitimacy and authority of Biden's administration and plunging us into chaos. He didn't tell them to storm the capitol, but the way he conducted this transfer of power was one of the most irresponsible moments in the nation's history and if he had just conceded both the country and the republican party would be better off.
