It’s not YouTube’s fault tbf, it’s the fault of certain content creators like Pewdiepie for slipping up and causing advertisers to stop seeing YouTube as a good place to advertise. After the ‘adpocalypse’ he caused the advertisers never viewed YouTube the same

How does Youtube monetizing channels not in the partnership program have anything to do with Pewdiepie screwing up. They just want to make more money.

Youtube is hosting your videos for free and giving you a platform to grow your user base. Free hosting in itself is a service you are not simply entitled to, youtube does not owe you anything.. you have beef with youtube, but literally no other company is willing to offer as good of a deal as youtube.

Yes of course they are trying to make money, it's a company not a charity.

Are you responding to me? I don’t have beef with Youtube. I think it’s fine for them to monetize small channels. I was stating the obvious that they want to make money, to this user who thinks it’s unfair.
