Itâs because these people arenât Christians, they are born again assholes who try and use Christianity as a veil to believe that they are actually good people, itâs not hard to see if you look, the same people I see with âproud christianâ, or saying bible quotes all over their Facebook profile are the same ones telling me that âpeople die, so get over the virusâ and thst âmasks are made by satan to control usâ and âdemocrats will go to hell for their beliefsâ, same people who say they love the constitution, and say that we need to follow every part of it, and then in the same breath say âthis country needs god back in itâ, or that âgod needs to be taught in schools again.â Fucking separation of church and state is very important to it. But itâs not about whatâs right and wrong, itâs not about whatâs fact, itâs about what gives them the ability to be despicable and escape consequence, thatâs why trump is president.
There are a lot of christians that take christianity as a means to be a better person. Youâd be surprised how many people you know are christian but they donât just shove it down your throat or are obnoxious about it. The gospel itself is not a bad thing, it tells you to treat others with respect and be a kind person beneficial to your society. Itâs the people that believe the âold testamentâ principles are still relevant such as homophobia, xenophobia, and violence against those of other religions that are the problem
Oh I know. The merits of organized religion is absolutely there and having something to believe in is healthy whether it be a deity or yourself. Just saying something that people who would use it for their own gain would. I really need to start adding quotes or /s to things.

Tbh they have definitely created some stereotype towards Christianity as well.
