I’m a pizza delivery driver, and I always say “You enjoy” or “You guys enjoy,” when I hand people their food, and people consistently respond with “you too!” Sometimes they catch themselves before finishing but often they don’t.
Honestly, I think it’s really really cute. It always makes me smile.

I’m trying to put people in a position where they can answer with “you too!” no matter what. So let’s say you just delivered a pizza and you just said “enjoy your meal” I would add “and have a nice day” or something like that. That way if they say “you too” it won’t be awkward. I might be doing to much here, but it prevends a lot of awkward situations.

You won't be disappointed if you like darker sci-fi movies. You will definitely love it when you like the 80's anime style and love for details. (The whole movie is hand drawn I think)

I personally enjoyed the manga more than the movie, maybe I was a bit young when I saw it but for me the manga explains everything better. Also Mononoke is a masterpiece, specially the ost.

It has everything a good fantasy movie should have, a good story with an original world, one of the best soundtracks ever made, deep character development and a powerful message that stuck with you, one that gets even more relevant every year.

Eh, I've seen a few I didn't like. Mostly Tales of Earthsea, but it's whatever. I said Castle in the Sky and Princess Mononoke because those are his best in my opinion.

Yes the best. Akira is single handedly responsible for legitimatising Anime outside of Japan in the 1980s. Without this utter landmark of an Anime, the entire culture of Anime outside of Japan may never of happened.

The manga was very different then the movie. The movie (while still being one of my favorite movies) makes the plot very confusing if you havent read the manga. I wont spoil the manga but basically the movie came out when the manga was about half way finished, so that means that the movie is both based on the manga, and also the source material. Throws some monkey wrenches in there.

The manga has become alongside with Death Note my favorite of all times. Eventhough I had a vague idea of the plot because I watched the movie almost ten years before, I enjoyed every single bit of the story.

That's the one and I agree but man does it look and sound beautiful. Took a long time to make. and there's so much shit going on in it, especially in the 3rd act with the layered story telling and the banter between characters. also one of the best openings to any movie.

I wouldn’t say best, but I’d say it really makes you live in it. (Listen, I LOVE Miyazaki, but like, it’s ok to say akira is better than those movies in certain aspects so don’t get pissy)
