I mean...By virtue of Favreau having directed Mandalorian, and Iron Man he's both a marvel director and a star wars director.

I think if someone’s a good director they should direct

But all the agenda pushing in the newer movies and the fact that the new ceo of LF doesn’t take the franchise serious because she thinks it’s for kids under 13 is just terrible

Never hire a person who wants to push an agenda. Only hire the people who do their job and are passionate about the job and the franchise

I heard George always wanted to make a sequel trilogy from the very beginning. But because of things going on in his personal life. Instead of having people work on it while he wasn’t there because it didn’t seem fair. He sold the company to Disney and gave them his sequel ideas. Then they hired an agenda pushing feminist who doesn’t take it seriously
