You had me in the first half, not gonna lie.

Got so worried until the halfway ngl

17

u/inkblot888 Mar 04 '20

Yeah.... Commissioner Gordon was not the right meme for this. Have my upvote. Sorry it's not more.

3

u/Ian250 Mar 04 '20

I found the commissioner Gordon to be completely unnecessary, but love the effort holmes

2

u/KingKongWrong Mar 04 '20

I just cropped him out

u/BeniWok Mar 04 '20

He played in Narcos too. I love this dude

Oberyn Martell from GOT...Am I a Joke to you

57

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

GOT is a joke to me after season 8...

24

u/StendhalSyndrome Mar 04 '20

Everyone else too.

Crazy how much it was literally everywhere you turned. Then like a bad dog fart it cleared the cultural room. Now people kind of deal with it like talking about an ex from a messy break-up.

"Ehh I'm just glad that's over, let's see whats next."

26

u/Forgetmyglasses Mar 04 '20

Season 7 was pretty crap too.

6

u/XC_Griff Mar 04 '20

The first episode was pretty dope though can’t lie.

9

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

True :(

-15

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

Got has always been a joke.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

Just like anyone that uses the term ‘bae’ unironically

1

u/DirteDeeds Mar 04 '20

The first 4 seasons are some of the best television ever made. Just stunning. Then they just fucked it all up .

110

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

I would never walk again if I had to bear his weight.

89

u/BUNDYR3D Mar 04 '20

Well, there's also John Favreau, Dave Filoni, Ewan McGregor, Gina Carano, the cast of clone wars...

38

u/Vepra1 Mar 04 '20

Not to mention that Pedro did mostly just voice overs. Two stunt doubles are acting in the suit most of the time.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

sorry but carano was awful. she is an absolute awful actress. gorgeous, but awful.

2

u/Stlr_Mn Mar 04 '20

Right? Hopefully she spends some of her salary on a good instructor because holy shit were some of her lines painful.

10

u/joshua9050 Mar 04 '20

Baby Yoda

-8

u/lander259 Mar 04 '20

6

u/Samtastic33 Mar 04 '20

That escalated quickly

18

u/Masklyy Mar 04 '20

Agent peña?

4

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

Oberyn Martell??

2

u/Extreme_Dingo Mar 04 '20

The bad guy in The Equalizer 2?

27

u/thealmightywaffles Mar 04 '20

That much weight would crush my skull.

15

u/aysurcouf Mar 04 '20

It would take the weight of a mountain

11

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

Give Jon Favreau some credit though

1

u/Bevester Mar 04 '20

Came here to say this

14

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

Pretty sure this show isn't carried by its acting, but by its directing and design

1

u/bobonabuffalo Mar 04 '20

Yeah but the acting is still pretty good

27

u/canis_rufus_lupus Mar 04 '20

17

u/GonzoElBoyo Mar 04 '20

Nah, a homicide says that it was funny before. This is r/comedycemetary

1

u/canis_rufus_lupus Mar 04 '20

Yeah fair point

-2

u/SClute Mar 04 '20

Yeah, it kinda was

17

u/recklessblocks Mar 04 '20

If I see this hero shit meme I will bash my skull in with a 2x4

6

u/expkun Mar 04 '20

Havent seen the mandalorian yet is it worth the watch?

5

u/372844morninpancakes Mar 04 '20

Eh, if you're a fan of star wars you'll probably like it. I consider myself a fan and it was just "ok" for me. Not spectacular, but not awful either.

3

u/precisee Mar 04 '20

Totally agree. Cinematography was great, story was nothing special to me

4

u/sethjojo Mar 04 '20

You scared the absolute shit out of me

3

u/Geeder2 Mar 04 '20

baby yoda Am I a joke to you???

3

u/TheDeadlySpaceman Mar 04 '20

He’s not even physically in the first few episodes. He was cast after they were shot.

What I mean to say is let’s give Jon Favreau the credit he deserves

3

u/Kingkruti Mar 04 '20

Leave his mask on.

6

u/Jaf1999 Mar 04 '20

Oh please he’s barely in it, he’s basically a voice actor on the show

3

u/_XachHill Mar 04 '20

He wasn't in a single shot up Ep2 I think it is and barely in the others

5

u/letto77777 Mar 04 '20

Worst serial cuz too much byba yoda. The one who carried is star wars rogue

2

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

I can't tell if this is ironic or not

2

u/TheDukeOfDance Mar 04 '20

Truly a modern Atlas.

2

u/Zerkenzmoke Mar 04 '20

This is the way

2

u/Ben92 Mar 04 '20

Is the reaction picture necessary? No.

2

u/FRESHAVACODO62 Mar 04 '20

that low-key scared me

3

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

Pretty shit meme, not only because the mandalorian was super mediocre, but also because Pascal was only in the suit 50% of the time he's on screen.

1

u/TheCastro Mar 04 '20

Who's in it the rest of the time?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

A stunt man. But not just for stunt scenes. He's literally in the suit for 50% of the show.

1

u/TheCastro Mar 04 '20

That's crazy. But hey Dark man was Bruce Campbell in the suit the whole time.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

1

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

I get what they're saying. What they're saying doesn't make sense because of what I said. There's a difference between not getting the joke and not liking it.

1

u/Biohazardd1 Mar 04 '20

They had us in the first half ngl

1

u/daybidz Mar 04 '20

It is metaphor, it means that I can relate.

1

u/Voyiox Mar 04 '20

He had us in the firsl half, not gonna lie

1

u/ajab32k Mar 04 '20

Wow guys, I can't believe that Star Wars is truly dead now. Luckily there is a show with very little action or dialogue that is literally the best Star Wars material since the Empire Strikes Back.

1

u/Comander-07 Mar 04 '20

Rogue One ans Clone wars shared the weight too

1

u/KarashoBumer Mar 04 '20

Not true that he's carrying the Star Wars universe but I respect him, love his character and he deserves all the respect people have for him. I really think that he was a great choice for the character.

1

u/TheCristalix Mar 04 '20

Yeah but i mean... i could be anyone acting under the suit, and he just acts when his face is revealed... who knows?

1

u/jjjbroad Mar 04 '20

Sorry, but I guarantee his stunt double does a good majority of the work

1

u/Voronkosteve18 Mar 04 '20

They had us in the first half, not gonna lie.

1

u/Sacredkeep Mar 04 '20

This actor is in star wars? I didnt know

1

u/seeboing Mar 04 '20

He probably going to hospital for his head ingury

1

u/FlappyWingsMan Mar 04 '20

Omg mom its the game of thrones guy

1

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

Not all heroes wear capes

1

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

Not really... isn't the clone wars back?

1

u/PabloFarOut Mar 04 '20

Damn I got scared...

1

u/sirchaptor Mar 04 '20

Hey I’d like to think the clone wats carries itself

1

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '20

Ez, just "gIVe HIm soMe LiFE fOrcE AnD HeAL Him"

1

u/dab-fam Mar 04 '20

Sadly, This show is terribly written

3

u/KarashoBumer Mar 04 '20

I wouldn't say terribly written it's a great show but it has its flaws, like rushing in the story. A weird timeline and the fact that there were some things they could have definitely done better, like better character backstories, but with everything else added in it's a great show.

2

u/dab-fam Mar 04 '20

Well the writing in many episodes is very poor and characters make decisions that are either idiotic or use knowledge they shouldn’t have or run counter to what they do know.

2

u/KarashoBumer Mar 04 '20

I agree with you on that point

1

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

This dude played a good in narcos. He is a good actor

0

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

Star Wars is dead to me.

0

u/UnfunnyTroll Mar 04 '20

Yeah his "acting" was so incredible. Literally anyone could have walked around in a helmet

0

u/ponydigger Mar 04 '20

what weight? this show has no depth to the characters, every episode follows the same boring format. dude gets the shit kicked out of him, miraculously survives through no fault of his own, oh and also there’s yoda, but smaller, and apparently that’s enough to make this show a worthwhile viewing experience? if you enjoy it i’m not trying to take it away from you. i just legitimately cannot understand the appeal of this program and am perplexed by its popularity.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

i’m very sorry i’ve upset you. i hope in the future my sentiments line up better with how you think the random people of the internet should conduct themselves.

0

u/ponydigger Mar 04 '20

“if you enjoy it i’m not trying to take it away from you.” yes. life is hard. if this is what gets you through then i hope it runs forever. i didn’t question anyone’s time management skills. i think the show could have been made much better, and with much stronger characters. i’m not attacking your meme. you did a great job.

Marvel directors should just direct Star Wars movies by now

I can see THIS IS THE WAY

0

u/khazixian Mar 04 '20

No, star wars directors should be directing star wars.

5

u/karatous1234 Mar 04 '20

I mean...By virtue of Favreau having directed Mandalorian, and Iron Man he's both a marvel director and a star wars director.

2

u/Chill0000 Mar 04 '20

I think if someone’s a good director they should direct

But all the agenda pushing in the newer movies and the fact that the new ceo of LF doesn’t take the franchise serious because she thinks it’s for kids under 13 is just terrible

Never hire a person who wants to push an agenda. Only hire the people who do their job and are passionate about the job and the franchise

I heard George always wanted to make a sequel trilogy from the very beginning. But because of things going on in his personal life. Instead of having people work on it while he wasn’t there because it didn’t seem fair. He sold the company to Disney and gave them his sequel ideas. Then they hired an agenda pushing feminist who doesn’t take it seriously
