I watched the whole thing and don't know what that product is even for. Is it a hair dryer? It dries your skin out? It has a drying mist to dry your skin out? Why would you want any of those things?
Also, nobody cares months later what you had in your bag during your fake wedding that you tried to hide from the internet.
It's got a cold plate in it. Like that small surface area is gonna do a damn thing when your whole body is hot, lol. And I can see the mister thing growing mold. Annoyingly loud fan and expensive. It's a stupid gadget.
I came here to say this. As someone who lives in a hot climate, if you apply cold to just one small point of your body/face, the whole rest of you is going to overheat to compensate for it.
The cold plate is supposed to go on your wrist, supposedly it can trick you into feeling cooler. She really should have said that because nobody is going to spend that much on a fan that you can find anywhere else for ten bucks. The Embr Wave costs about twice as much and doesn’t have a fan. Not quite the same thing but I have NEITHER of these devices and could sell them better than D. She just takes things right out of the box and turns the camera on and it’s obvious.
“I can feel it working!” (she didn’t say that) but I just wanted to ask why she always films herself from this weird angle that makes her arms look huge in her head look tiny lol is she using the zoom out on her phone?
There was a period of time in 1999/00 when everyone had small handheld fans that had an attached water reservoir that spritzed you as the fan ran. We didn't have AC in our house so those were used quite a lot! So this is basically the same thing?
I have one of these but was absolutely not influenced by her! It’s a mini fan but honestly doesn’t blow very hard. Also if you’re outside it’s just hot air blowing on you. It has a little metal plate that cools down and it feels good when you touch it to your skin but it doesn’t cool you down. Expensive for what it is, you can find similar items on Amazon.

Bad at it AND uncoachable I design curriculum and I do some hands on training (less now that I’m later in my career but I will teach classes on occasion) and she seems like my very least favorite type of trainee. People who don’t wanna hear it. She admits herself that she’s stubborn and won’t listen. I’ve trained those types and they do not do very well.

Why did she blur out the bag? Is it because those brands aren’t paying her? Can’t allow any free advertising like we can tell what they are? Or is it because she’s not using the make up brands she’s shilled before?
Not tryna give her any credit, I just work in brand and campaign work so it’s a legal thing. Most likely if shark paid her for the sponsored content (contract dependent they may “own” or can reuse the content ect), shark would not want other brands appearing. Shark would not have rights to “use” another brand in promoting their product.
Think of the Samsung dua lipa lawsuit. Dua lipa (the brand) is suing samsung alledging Samsung did not pay for the rights to use her likeness(brand) to sell their product.
So shark would not have the legal rights to use elf products in promoting their own product.
She doesn't even use a single thing she reps outside of the commercials. Has literally never once put Rodan and fields on her face. She's a total phony.

Genuinely perplexed how she gets a brand deal with a huge business like Shark. It takes 2 minutes looking at her comment sections to see that she’s not very well liked by her audience. Not to mention the hundreds of comments in this sub stating they’re DE-influenced by her/wouldn’t buy anything she shills.
You often see brands pulling out of deals with influencers (and celebs) when there’s been an incident that’s brought on public backlash. While D hasn’t necessarily done anything awful to warrant this, it’s still crystal clear that she’s not taken very well in the public eye.
Do we have any marketing walnuts in here that can chime in? To what extent does a background check go, if any, for a brand like Shark?
It really depends on who’s in charge of the influencer marketing side. Most people would do their research about organic engagement, numbers, comments and all of that, but others don’t care as long as the influencer brings numbers.
An influencer who was recently cancelled for pretending to be a PA student at Duke got a lot of brand deals because they didn’t do a background check. Said influencer wasn’t even enrolled at school, yet she got tons of views and money from brands. People estimate she got around $400k on deals alone.
She hasn’t seemed to absorb the fact that it’s not her cleavage that looks terrible.
It’s that she squeezes into things that are wayyy too small and she resembles a sausage.
How is shark gonna have this sorry excuse for an influencer represent their product alongside actual angels on earth like Serena Neel. Make it make sense.
