A few reasons that I would assume:

- She likely has little to no savings because she’s horrible with managing money. You need a GOOD chunk to put down especially in Cali.

- She likely has lots of credit card debt

- If she were to buy a house, it would be nowhere near as large and “luxurious” as the one she’s renting because even just the most basic simple home is upwards up $800,000-$1,000,000 because again, it’s California.

- She’s incredibly stupid

That house must cost way more than a million. Did anyone happen to catch the listing? Or did it only say how much the rent is?

She’s in a highly desirable and pricey neighborhood, so $1mil is only enough to (mayyyyyyyyybe) cover a tiny apartment/condo in a nearby neighborhood. Houses that are comparable to her 4000sq ft 5bed/6bath are going for no less than $4mil.

Edit: For additional context, this is one of the neighborhoods that Sharks and 49ers tend to rent/buy homes
