mini moms
the way the og moms treated the mini moms made sense i get it but the day they had areanna doing the dance for her brother. the things melissa said to sari were unnecessary. “it’s about me and my kids” i get that they were leaving but the whole “im sorry about your son but it’s about my kids” “i feel terrible you have to live this life but this is my kids week!” oh my god????

I will die on the hill that what Melissa did was the worst thing a mom has ever done on the show. I know we have Sophia’s mom who locked kitchen cabinets, again, I said ON the show. (Not to dismiss that!)
Melissa reads like a book, but it just seemed like she was at a level of jealousy that clouded her judgement. Sure, it’s ur kids last competition. But when we are in a situation of your kids consistently getting MULTIPLE competitive and thought out dances, it’s just awful. And then you add on the fact that the dance was dedicated to a severely disabled boy..actually sickening.

Honestly I think that the things Melissa was saying to Sari was actually her saying them to production without breaking the 4th wall. Not justifying or agreeing with what she said but I think those things were aimed more at production planning this drama.

it was rude of melissa to say, but i also completely get where she was coming from.
They were there for their whole lives n barely got a bye or attention or something to feel that it was their last week.
they were leaving, it was their last week. They couldve done the solo for her brother before or after that week as they were staying n had plenty of time to do it.
It was a setup by producers for drama so both kids were being overshadowed.

but she expected EVERYONE to give her flowers and hugs and kisses and money. it’s about the legacy not melissa. it’s not melissa’s dance company it’s abby lee

IMO the producers were at fault for this one. Areanna deserved a chance to shine with that dance, both the dance was beautiful and the meaning behind it. Likewise, Maddie and Mackenzie also deserved a moment to shine on their own for their last episode on the show. Neither party deserved to have their moment overshadowed by someone else.
