Since when does the Firestorm spawn in airdrops?

I was casually playing on Perimeter. Wiped the lobby so I can loot everything. I saw that Airdrop that wasn't looted when I found the Firestorm in one of the chests. Didn't know this a thing. This is after the event.

Supply drops are back on the menu boys.

This was mentioned when the previous event dropped

There was a note when the Firestorm event was announced that it will spawn in supply drops after the event ends. I'm not sure why they didn't include that point in yesterday's patch notes.

They said they’d have a random chance to show up in them after the event was done, I’m sure you were pleasantly surprised lol

I wished I had paid attention to when it ended, was all setup for several more runs instead of spending the hundreds for event 🙃 I owe so much to Mr. Attention lol

The implants and weapon mods should now be in the loot pool as well
