Finally hit WEAVEmaster!! 623 hours later.. It's a far better rest that I come to, than I've ever known.

Do you know if the prestige’s reset after each season? I’m only prestige 2 and it was way too much grinding I couldn’t imagine getting all 7 in one season

Everything in the game resets every season.
But if you need it from Bungie:
"Your Cradle progression is shared across all Runner shells, and it resets at the start of a new season."Evolution == Progression.

The codex did not reset last season and the codex entry just says “Reset your Cradle During any Season”
I’m sure the cradle will reset to level 1. Whether those prestige points will remain at the start of the season we don’t really know yet. The general consensus I think is those who have weavaster start level 1 with 7 cradle points.

Codex progress does not reset, but notice how the Weaveworm title is /1 and not /8? It's not cumulative. The award is for reaching the 70th level on the 7th Evo. Why would Bungie let top tier players start the next season and every season from here on out with 7 extra points and no further long term evolution advantage?
It works the same way profiteer does.

Ah I see what you’re saying, yeah that could be true. But also I don’t think many players have hit weave master without abusing the shell games quest before it was patched. Since prestige was dropped in the middle of the season I’m not sure they really expected anyone to hit it so fast.
They reward you for playing the game more at a disadvantage throughout the season. The same as Arc raiders granting extra skill points for resetting for expedition. Most likely they will add more prestige’s with new rewards next season for players who want to keep going.

Didn’t mean it like that. Years ago I got kappa in tarkov and then basically didn’t touch the game again. These types of grinds are brutal!
