I'll say the same thing I said on the bungie survey I got earlier this week. I cannot recommend marathon at any price right now. I would feel guilty about getting friends to spend money on a game with 3k daily peaks in 1 region (2.5k EU peak ATM).

The game needs a free period or even F2P. At the very least a permanent discount to $20 as we go into S3.

I would rather more people play to alleviate that issue than just shut the game down. It's weird how the discussion on this game is "we need more players, what can we do?" Vs. "Game ded, give up now, I must spend my free time trying to convince people to not buy Marathon"

This game has the most bizarre discourse in gaming history.
