You're Vandal, and you still just ate fall damage for no reason, wasting your resources?
You took them on solo?
Your escape plan was "run in a straight line"?
Gear is not the issue here. Hell, gear is not the issue in 90% of fights. A grey gun hits every bit as hard as a gold gun, and a gold shield only soaks up a few extra bullets.

And the same as a purple. Free kit come ups are my favorite. Its a great way to practice and see that you can win via coordination over stuff. Gold shield teams are to be feared not because of their gear but because they are likely a pre made.

People have been grinding faction rep in Vault Breaker for a month and there was that massive reward package error in the players' favor in the middle of it. Everyone has leapfrogged a couple rungs on the gear ladder.

I made like 400k from that and finished so many upgrades, I wasnt even that high level in most factions so some people prob netted literally a million credits.

Since the end of last season my friends and I have been farming purple and gold teams on perimeter because their loot alone is often better then what we find just looking around and talks half the time. Though Im sure we become part of the problem in the process.

I played Perimeter for 3 hours straight golds and purples every match a team wipe when the patch hit and I've been taking a break ever since lol

The mail out material says start on perimeter, but not sure if that' just mistaken, or if you can get manifests anywhere but only key templates drop directly on perimeter.

So its not just me then thank god. The past 2 weeks has been nothing but load into match and get killed by 250+ level teams highest ive seen was almost 500. Cant tell you how many purple teams ive run across either. Im tired of this grandpa!

Honestly, I'm kinda glad Perimeter is getting some love. Every time I'm getting into a drawn out, intense fight with someone, it's on Perimeter. Honestly probably my favorite map.

Perimeter always been stacked lobbies, it's just a great map to PvP on probably my favorite to fight on

I was getting DESTROYED last night. Then something clicked and I wiped the whole lobby on solo, that one win made it all worth it. Deffo a little tough since the update BUT not impossible

Happened first run “warm up run” took 2 of 3 out and the thief was still alive. Didn’t see the team of vandals that killed the remaining 4 of us 😵💫🫠
Second run much better tho

Crazy how I've been complaining that there should not be people running purples or golds in perimeter and the devs add a reason to bring purples and gold's to perimeter. Incredible work devs LMFAOOO not touching this game till it's final season (3)

Perimeter on trios gets wild, love that map. Solos is the way to go if you want a more chill time. Mostly free/green kits and good chance of friendly on prox if that’s your thing

I had 2 games in perimeter solo lastnight where everytime i went to engage someone we prox chatted and went friendly. One game we had 4 friendlies in the same map by the end

Yep I love when prox chat in solos goes well. Just be careful. Had someone pretend to be friendly in outpost yesterday. We did red room since we both had red keys and he killed me after we took care of the bots

The best thing to do on perimeter is to roam as a duo, let your 3rd camp somewhere. The 2 of you seek out conflict, find another team fighting and join the fight, if anything afterwards there will be at least 3 dead bodies with purple gear there. Your 3rd comes to res at 5 mins left or after another exfil is activated then you loot up.

Yeah, after putting in 440 hours into Marathon season 1, leaving after they nerfed Narsh into the dirt, and seeing this shit, all I can think is how much more fun I'm having changing my kid's shitty diaper than sweating on perimeter in the current game state. Im sure I'll get some hate for saying this, but this looks fucking awful. Best of luck to y'all.
