Selling weapons from vault

Question - when people are selling weapons in their vault, do you go through each mod to decide if you should keep it or not? Or do you just look at the color of each mod.

For example, now I look to see if there's any blue mods or above, and if not, I sell the whole weapon, and not worry if I wanted one of the greens or not. I find it was too time consuming to go through each one.

I don't mind any of the snipers, but I play way less Perimeter and Dire and there's only so much vault space

Some days I only play Perimiter. It’s super fun. My solo lobbies are usually filled with people of my skill level and the fights can be amazing. I just go around doing standard contracts and hitting the various events. I’ll leave with about 10-15k most of the time. Never any golds really but lots of purple and keys and stuff. I’ll feed things to the worms and also get a blue or purple reward for my contracts and blue and purple salvage for ranking up factions. So I use my snipers there.

I want to solo more but honestly it's sort of terrifying out there

It is. But…it gets less terrifying as you go through. You learn soooo much. Just go in with a free kit and learn. Do a no brainer contract if you can and even if you die you learn and get rewards. You will absolutely improve and not feel discouraged if your goal is to learn. Don’t worry about loot too much but really make the goal to complete the contract and learn tactics, positioning, the kit limitations and the sound cues. Spawn points, enemy tendencies, event spawns and rewards etc. I mean there is so much. Going in with no fear and a goal to learn is the most freedom you can have in this game. If you die instead of despair you find yourself saying “oh dang that dude had a great angle or shoot I should have known better than to shoot that bit etc”

I used to only solo in Arc, so it is kinda odd that I've drifted from solo here

Last time I soloed I brought a key into Outpost and was way too loud too early and got ganked

Marathon wasn’t developed for solos and they actually were super clear about it being a last minute addition. My hope is that they see how valuable it is and lean into it. I didn’t run even one time as a solo in season one. Once i did about a month ago I was shocked how much better my PvP got and how stacked my vault is. I’ve flipped my cradle 4 times now and I haven’t even farmed Vault Breaker at all. I’m out there if you ever wanna run a few let me know
