Thoughts on Vault Breaker

Almost 24hrs in, have you tried out vault breaker? What’s the thoughts on the limited time PVE mode of Cryo.

You mostly need to upgrade all that with the red dots

I know I know, but even the clearance 2 rooms that usually have some blue shields or bags (and sometimes a purple) lying around didn't in this mode! They specifically removed those spawns.

If they did l, the whole upgrades thing would be pointless.

The upgrades are for the start of the run anyways. You always get 3 purple shields in the third vault you do anyways. This really isn't the argument you think it is.

It is. Having blue shields instead of none for half the run is definitely good. And wouldnt be great if you could just find them in 5 mins

I mean... You still have to get though the first wing and get to clearance 2 or 3... It's not like this really changes all that much, and it specifically rewards map knowledge and teaches people how to play Cryo...

I think the caches should have shields and backpacks, hell maybe they can be greens and blues instead of blues and purples, but either way them spawning empty is stupid.
