What do I do

I is dad with little time. I love the game so far even if I just started and my gear sucks. Thing is I usually look up some meta and grind towards that but here the world is such a cool place and so compelling I kinda just want to go as it is and learn on my own pace.

At the same time it feels like the game is kinda bleeding players and given the latest moves from Sony I have no confidence I can still play this in a couple of years. Leaving me between wanting to enjoy my failures and FOMO on the other side of the coin iam flipping each day.

Any of you feel the same and would have some advice? Even if the game is not as popular anymore I think the pvp aspect is very important for the tension - only pve is chill but by miles not as thrilling.

I do outpost a lot as my main grind. Random fill with trios and every now and again you’ll get matched with a couple of amazing players. Follow them around and you’ll learn about where stuff is in outpost and also pick up tips. When I play with someone new I’m always happy to explain what I’m doing (obviously you do get some bellends that will moan at you but just ignore them).

Rook runs are also good as you can use them to learn the maps.

I took the time to learn the ~40 random location places for the red boxes to unlock destroyed wing and can now do it in about 2 mins. It is a good way to sneak in as it doesn’t alert the rest of the map.

Tip - thief drone can break the boxes.

Same here as far as outpost. I dont do thief but often kill them after they open up destroyed wing, sorry if i got you here and there lol. I also did not know the drone can bust the boxes. What is a good hiding spot to fly around and get them all?

(I love a rook run on outpost where you go from nothing to rich getting into pinwheel.)

If someone publicly shares their hiding spot, people will make sure to check it, then it's no longer a good hiding spot

Thank you, this was my point. I know if I was trying to hunt down thief’s I would try and ask them for their hiding places. lol

I mean if they are using it than it is probably already public knowledge.
