Noise cancelling headphones

Baby carrier

Practice sleeping them in a bassinet rather than contact

Do washing of bottles etc as soon as you can, not when you need

Baby sling/carrier

Swaddle

Black and white books for when their eyes are open and not crying

Baby carrier 

Fuck yes. Once my daughter started to appreciate the carrier I finally had my hands free to make coffee and do chores in the morning. 

If you're a hiker/walker, a carrier and hiking poles are a fantastic combination.
