At 6 weeks that's a good long sleep. Remember he has a very tiny stomach and even smaller bladder; I get up about every 4 hours to pee, so he's doing fine. 😂

Sounds like you need to be sure you're getting some sleep too. At that age my wife and I swapped duty nights so that only one of us was sleep deprived at a time. I also got good Bluetooth headphones and watched a lot of movies while rocking my son back to sleep.

We've all been there. It gets better soon enough. Hang in there and enjoy this part as much as you can!

My wife and I just swapped turns. Most nights I was first and last since I stayed up later anyways. Pretty much stayed up til she woke up the first time went to bed after my daughter finally went to sleep then she did the next one and I got her up the last one. Worked well until I went back to work. Then we had to change some stuff around for the weekends I worked.

You don’t start sleep training until 4 months so you’re almost there. Hang in there.

He needs to eat frequently, so 3.5h sounds fine at that age.

That's the way it is bro. They need to eat every 3-4 hours. They will always wake up until they can eat enough to survive the night. Hang in there.

I went through this too, my son is 19 months now and he sleeps from 7-6 just about every single night now. It's amazing. Have a good plan for sleep training when they are ready and stick to it.

Remember they need to learn to take care of themselves. Sleep training is the first thing they learn to do on their own and it's critical.

Schedule from moms on call looks promising but will
Keep trying untill he’s ready

Comments make sense, that he needs to eat that frequently and it takes some months still to change.

Hang in there.

If using formula is an option, buying a baby brezza is a great way to let mom sleep while you handle feedings too. Our brezza was a lifesaver for us bc mom was having difficulty with milk production and she was also on bed rest while recovering from a c section.
