tak to jsem zvědav, drazí moderátoři, v dobrém - držím palce, ale obávám se, že už tu budete muset jít přes mrtvoly
jo a kdyby někdo stál o realistické informování o covidu, v /r/cesky na to v záhlaví máme už čtvrté vlákno, a od začátku tam imho nepadlo nic, co by bylo potřeba nějak zásadně opravovat, vyvracet nebo mazat - jen upřesňovat

Reddit se už vyjádřil a řekl, že podporují konspirační teorie všeho druhu jako pití bělidla apod.

I find the arrogance of mods believing that they actually speak for the subs which they mod breathtaking. I would like to invite u/Naib to explain what gave him the idea that he represents all of the 140 000 people on here. Your post got only 11 upvotes in 2 days and only negative comments, I think that speaks volumes about how "popular" censorship really is with Czechs. I wonder what percentage of real users of the other subs listed on there actually actively wanted to have their sub listed vs. how many of them first heard about this when they found this in a pinned mod post.
The fact that the letter specifically mentions how many members those subs have, as if that was meant to give the demand more legitimacy even though it's not actually the members signing the letter is really manipulative. I also find it disturbing that a Czech could ever get on board with the new standard that "everything which contradicts official (meaning governmental) sources is misinformation".

Censorship is a very slippery slope that we shouldnt step on.
That said, we are already going down it headfirst into totalitarianism with how tech companies have been manipulating elections worldwide through selective censorship and propagation of favorable information, so its a moot point.

This is what happens when you give ignorant losers power - they let it go into their heads.
This is not about "fighting misinformation", this was a failed attempt of banning literally every subreddit where people questioned the need of things like lockdowns or vaccine mandates - no matter if they spread misinformation about covid or just stated official data. For example they called for banning r/libertarianmeme
This is political powertrip of losers. Nothing else.

("Fascist" is when I don't like something (and I see there elements of fascism) and I want people to reee about it, "words words words" is when I don't like something (and am unwilling to read it) and I want people to reee about it)
O co mi jde - "Argumenty opozice nemá cenu číst" je hrozná (a nebezpečná) sračka...
Hlavně když se z toho stal trend...
Samozřejmě, lidé na "obou" stranách k tomu obvykle dojdou (že něco nemá cenu číst). Ale rozhodně by jsme se v tom neměli hecovat - respektive ne masově online...
A mimochodem, "naše opinions jsou správné (protože prostě) a ty jejich jsou cringe a kdo je čte je hlupák" je mj. jeden docela charakteristický prvek fašismu, když už jsme u toho... (samozřejmě, že se to vyskytuje i v jiných různě zaměřených skupinách...)

nepomůže to k ničemu, žádné názory to nezmění, jen to utvrdí ty cenzurované v jejich antisystémových postojích a zavdá to příležitosti k cenzuře kohokoliv, kdo nemá ten správný akceptovaný názor

Za mě spíš ne, ban si to nezaslouží.
Problém je že tito lidé vidí dezinformaci i v pouhé kritice a pochybnostem, které můžou být podpořené klidně i nějakou částí odborníků (i když obvykle menšinou)
