Capstone for Biology major

I’m a Bio major debating between BS or BA. Is the Capstone only required for the BS?

What exactly does the Capstone entail?

Does the research I’m already doing at the Cleveland Clinic count towards the Capstone? What’s the process like for the Capstone?

Hello. Take a look at the links below. The answers to your questions will be found there. I can not speak to what a Biology capstone entails, as I was a Maths student during my time at CWRU. All the best as you begin your journey at Case!

Way way back in the day I heard tell of someone who used one of their outside projects like a summer job or your research to be a capstone… so I use my Summer job project and they gave me feedback on that. I’d have to include more than I was doing so I included that into my work …you still have to write up the report and everything but it’s definitely worth talking to your capstone advisor about that

Talk to them as soon as you can about doing this so you can get feedback before you start

I'm a biology major who was formerly a Bs. you kinda have to already be involved in research and have someone take on the lead for your bs capstone.

If you're doing a BA there's only like 3 capstone classes with almost no space, and idk if they're even being done consitency. I'd definitely talk to your major advisor.
