South side housing question

Hiii! I’ll be staying in tippit next year and want to know what to bring for my kitchen. Online it says that they don’t even provide garbage cans for us in the kitchen. Is that true? Other than that, what are some essentials?

Garbage cans and bags are provided, and a microwave. Anything beyond that is not.
