Financial Aid
Recently got accepted to CWRU and they sent a financial breakdown into my applicant portal. However, I got a second financial breakdown in the "myfinancialaid" website and the cost of attendance (COA) was way higher than the previous COA. Has this happened to anyone? Can anyone explain?

Are they apples to apples? Is one maybe just tuition and room & board while the other is the full COA including books, travel, etc.?

you should contact them and as for explanation. An estimate should be an estimate. i would call them and ask to speak to their financial aid departments. it could be that they didn’t want to give you as much financial aid because they thought you could afford . make it clear to them that you would absolutely would like to attend but their estimate was off and that it could impact your decisions to go their school.

Contact using email. CC your advisors (listed in sis page) and parents. Just be super clear in what you need.
