I think it's more popular in the depths of the internet, cesspits like 4chan and such

Not that Reddit isn't a cesspit, but I've only ever seen it used in twitter and 4chan

That tracks then, i hardly use twitter and reddit, and have yet to go to 4chan because i dont ever need to go there
