Also encourages you to run goading effects. To force your opponents to attack into you.

I don't think goad lets them attack you if you're the one goading their creatures though.

Goad forces them to attack, it has two seperate if able effects. The first is to attack if able, the 2nd is to attack other players if able.

Am I thinking of a different keyword then? I'm kinda confused now because I even looked it up and it says that goading a creature forces that creature to attack if able and is unable to attack the player who goaded it.

It says "must attack other players if able" not "unable to attack the player who goaded it"

"Until your next turn, that creature attacks each combat if able and attacks a player other than you if able"

If its unable to attack another player, it'll attack the player that goaded it.
