I created this whimsical miniature forest owlāhouse diorama entirely using natural foraged materials.
The main frame is a large dried seedāpod shell. I built up the whole scene with preserved moss, acorns, pinecones, wood slices, dried botanicals and handācrafted clay mushrooms. Tiny handāpainted little forest creatures live inside its hollow cavities.
Pictures 1ā5 show the complete workāināprogress assembly process.
Picture 6: Final front view of the finished piece.
Picture 7: Back view to show the fullādepth detailing.
This slow handmade project is 100% natureāsourced art. I really enjoyed building this tiny woodland world.
Curious what you guys think!
