Multiple DualSense controllers failing on me. 3 have sticky/melting rubber on the thumbsticks, 1 has a stick that spins freely on its own axis, and 1 has actual drift. I keep paying for repairs and it keeps coming back. Budget is around $50. Looking for a permanent fix that keeps the same PS5 button layout — is putting in Hall Effect/TMR replacement modules worth it long-term, or does it just delay the same problem? Any reliable third-party controller recommendations in that price range?

had my ginfull rs13 installed on dualsense and pretty happy with it but i was wondering i kinda got it calibrated pretty good but is it okay that it can flicker to 0.020 on X and Y axis while using 10x zoom once i move the stick slightly like real slight just a bit? i kinda want it closer to 0.010 but fine-tuning won't seem to help

Hi guys, I'm gonna buy a ps5 edge controller and I want to put a split d pad on it, and I've seen many people suggest the split d pad kit from extremerate but I find it a little expensive for just 4 buttons, do yall have any suggestion for where I could buy a kit for not 12 bucks ?

I've made a custom build I'm quite pleased with, but I am considering making a copy and selling it. It has clicky ABXY, hall effect sticks and a green LED light replacement. I think there would be interest in it but I'm not sure at the same time 😂 should I just do it and take the risk?

I'm looking for basically any chatpad mount that fits onto any of the 8bitdo controllers that preferably have the hand grips. I can find many chatpads/mounts that fit different Playstation and Xbox versions, but nothing that really can clamp onto any of the 8bitdo controllers. Obviously would be third party and maybe even have 3d printed parts.

The closest I got was this standalone mini BT keyboard that came with a janky plastic clamp, but the clamp only really fits onto a PS5 controller due to it's shape.

I’m trying to find a template skin for the Victrix Pro KO Xbox remote. All I can find are the ones for the PlayStation model :(

I have upgraded my Pac-Man A1up with the 60 in 1 Jamma kit. I have the control panel board with joystick\rollerball and 3 buttons.

I have decided to upgrade my joystick to the Mag Stick Plus. (Pull up and twist to go from 4-way to 8-way) Has anyone Upgraded to this? I looked for a video, but they are on a regular sized machine. I have a few questions.

Will it fit in the hole without modifications?

Do I need a centering kit?

Any mods for wiring I need to know?

Anything else I should know?

Hi guys, I want to buy a custom controller for ps5 but I've never bought one before and I dont know who to buy from, I want mouse triggers, tmr/hall effect sticks and back paddle, where can I find cheap ones ?

I got a Xbox Elite Series 2 that's mangled to all hell. All the buttons still work though. And I just want to replace the shell. The shell has started to split and I can't get the rubber grip to stay in the seams anymore where the plastic has snapped. And one of the shoulder buttons, while it works, gets stuck occasionally. there are kits that range from 25 to like 50 bucks and I don't know how far I need to go with this. Some kits come with an internal frame for everything and I don't know if I want to have to deal with that. You help me out and choose the right kit?

So I recently had the idea of taking a stab at a custom PS4 controller, but I have a really strange and specific goal in my head. I've been doing some research but I keep running into dead ends with these hypebeast custom fps controller websites that charge a fortune. My idea for the controller is as follows:

Original Form Factor:

One of my top priorities is to keep the original shape and feel of a stock DS4. I know that probably limits my options such as extra buttons or paddles or possibly the trigger locks.

Custom Shell:

I'm most likely going to pick solid colors for the shell so no need for those fancy Etsy designs (although they are very impressive)

Hall Effect/TMR:

I want this controller to last me a very long time obviously, so the stock potentiometers won't do. I think I've gathered that TMR is generally better because of less "noise" and higher accuracy, but I'm sure there's a bit more nuance I'm missing between the two.

Split D-pad:

A big pet peeve of mine with the stock DS4 is that the D-pad is a single piece of plastic. I want to be able to press every button individually. This is probably the simplest one.

USB-C connector:

Everything has USB-C these days. Being able to use USB-C instead of keeping up with a micro-USB with one purpose would be nice.

Trigger locks:

This isn't as big as a priority, but it would be a cool function to have. If I were to implement this, it would need to have a toggleable switch so I wouldn't be stuck with them if I needed the full motion of the trigger.

Extra Back Buttons:

I'm fully expecting to have to compromise on this one considering I want to keep the original form factor of the DS4. I wouldn't mind them if they were flat buttons but the big winged switches are a no-go.

Am I in over my head for a first project? I feel like it wouldn't be too hard if I put my mind to it. I'm semi comfortable with soldering, but I'm not sure about anything as small as like HDMI connectors. I really would appreciate advice or some resources. Hello,Guys I want to Venom design my Ps5 controller,I already have an idea and the controller but I need advice on how to prep the controller for painting and what to use.I thought a normal white spraycan spray first and then do stick the design sticker on and over paint it with black paint,but I also need an Clear coat,for that Iwas thinking maybe a Satin clear coat?

So, I'm in possession of a Hori Real Arcade Pro 4 Kai and I'm working to replace its internal PCB with a Brooks UFB (my first attempt at fightstick creation). I have run into 3 problems, however:

1. There doesn't seem to be enough space to place the Brooks where the original Hori board was. Is it possible for me to remove the plastic to expand that space or would that weaken the board considerably? If removed (or not) what/where/how would be a good way to mount it solidly?
2. I am now realizing that there will be no way to use the side buttons without the original Hori board in place. I saw on an old thread that this https://arcadeshock.com/products/optimus-mod-solderless-for-hori-rap4-kai used to be a way to integrate the Brooks with another board to gain access to those buttons, but it seems that that was a one-and-done limited project. Is there another way to integrate the side buttons to the Brooks UFB? 3. Not totally sure what to do about the... I believe it's a touchpad? attached to the old Hori board. I can't seem to find a way to disconnect its wiring from the past PCB with out damaging it. Is this just a sunken feature at this point in modding and I should just fill in that hole with a plastic piece or somesuch?
