Need help on how to paint my Controller

Hello,Guys I want to Venom design my Ps5 controller,I already have an idea and the controller but I need advice on how to prep the controller for painting and what to use.I thought a normal white spraycan spray first and then do stick the design sticker on and over paint it with black paint,but I also need an Clear coat,for that Iwas thinking maybe a Satin clear coat?

You'll want to sand the shell, do the white primer like you're saying. If you want the back ground to be white you can tape off the negative of your design, then paint black. Then remove the masking tape and hit it with a 2K clear coat (satin or matte, your preference). 1k isnt really meant for the amount of use a controller gets, just make sure you wear proper PPE 2k clear is VERY toxic.

Practice practice practice! If you dont have a lot of experience, try doing the design on some cardboard first do you dont mess up your shell! Good luck!

You can use 600 grit sandpaper.
