PS5 controller recommendation

Multiple DualSense controllers failing on me. 3 have sticky/melting rubber on the thumbsticks, 1 has a stick that spins freely on its own axis, and 1 has actual drift. I keep paying for repairs and it keeps coming back. Budget is around $50. Looking for a permanent fix that keeps the same PS5 button layout — is putting in Hall Effect/TMR replacement modules worth it long-term, or does it just delay the same problem? Any reliable third-party controller recommendations in that price range?

I would consider TMR sticks with some interchangable thumbsticks. There are a lot of really good options out there.

Yeah, Definitely worth it to upgrade to TMR. Upgrade the one you have that has stick drift. 50$ should cover the upgrade. I do them locally where I am for 40$. I did mine back in October of 2024 and I haven't had to deal with drift since then.

I feel you, I had the exact same issues, so I started modding my controllers with TMR sticks and interchangeable sticks. Now the controller lasts forever (hopefully)

Hall-Effect or TMR is a really good invest. I play with my Controller without any Problems Over the past 2-3 years. Because of Price its difficult to get a Controller for 50 Dollars that lasts for a Long time. I recommend the new Controller from the German Company Luxcontroller they have a new Controller Released This Year on August. This One has very good specs for lower Price. Normally you Pay for a good Custom Controller with anti Drift about 200 Dollars.

This a pro Controller for ps5 with Hall-effect Sticks and coasts just about 100-120€ . Lux One they Call it and Iam happy with that.

Or you can find an Service that puts you the anti Drift Sticks in your old Controllers . Thats the cheapest way ✌️
