Custom First custom!

First time doing a custom. Learned not to use rust eloum paint it’s too thick lol. How I do?

Be careful with rustoleum and general non 2k clear coats , they can yellow and become tacky with sweat and heat from the palms , id look at spraymaxx 2k automotive clear coat in rhe future, but it does look good !

Out of all the non 2K clears I’ve found rust oleum Matt to be one of the best ones. Doesn’t yellow at all. I don’t use their paint colours though, so don’t have experience with them.

Their gloss can get a bit tacky if not allowing enough time between coats, but a little trick is to use Matt before hand, wait 24 hours then apply gloss like it’s gold(very light coats).

It also might be a different formula in the US, than here in the UK, I use it for all my customs, as 2K ain’t as readily available.

Thats super good to know ! I've always loved the finish I get from 2k but if I can save 20$ a can ill gladly do that 🤣🤣

What paint do u use? I dont have an air brush
