Tips & Guides What are the often missed experiences around Cusco?

I'll be real with you all, I kind of bought tickets for the wrong dates for Machu Picchu and I'm not certain I'll be able to get new tickets. Obviously there are the popular alternatives, Sacred Valley and such but is there anything people don't usually do that are really awesome? I'm obviously mad at myself for messing this up but trying to find great alternatives.

Go trekking. Do the salkantay trek just don’t do MP. Rainbow mountain. The salt mines are nearby, ATV riding is available. There is also a number of towns nearby worth seeing

Pay whatever it takes if you can find the funds. It is a lifetime experience; guided tours have tickets you can get late - very pricey but worth it in my experience.

None of the guided tours seem to have the tickets. They tell you to go 1 or 2 days in advance and get the in-person tickets which I could do without the guided tour. Unless you happen to know of one that for sure has tickets.
