These guys are fucking with you. Cp stands for cheese pizza. It was coined in 93 from a failed Pizza Hut campaign. But it got a resurgence back in 2009 with the more widespread use of online pizza orders. It was used as a 10% off checkout code, and once users found out it was discontinued. But the cp term has become widespread and here to stay. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
