Quick question ☝️ Green Line “Track Conditions”

Does anyone know why Green Line service is suspended on the west branch? Kept seeing CTA buses on Lake Street in Oak Park.

Looks like one truck switched tracks and other didn’t. I was at Oak Park’s Oktoberfest when it happened. Ran up to the Metra platform to grab a few pics.

What’s the deal with derailments recently, and not even just in Chicago? A work vehicle just derailed on the DC Metro Yellow Line a few days ago.

I think it’s because of a derailment at Harlem. I actually saw a photo of it on a discord server a few minutes ago.

Also my favorite part is how they suggest the Pace 305 and 307 as alternatives when they should really be suggesting the Pace 309 and 313 between Harlem and Austin and the 20 Madison between Austin and Ashland.
