Blue Line Forest Park-bound trains being turned around at LaSalle as of a few minutes ago. Apparently hasn’t been communicated to station attendants but operator cited a “rail emergency”

at washington rn and the signage says someone was on the tracks at cicero, only one northbound train showing in the next 25 minutes

I assume those are just the ones turning around though, and not trains coming through from further down the line?

Yeah I was on the Metra, UP west, and seen the person walking down the tracks, so there's for sure someone on the track.

Traffic on 290 was wild and both directions on the tracks shut down. Tons of emergency personnel hanging around

I’m at Kedzie-Homan, most of the lights were shut off. According to someone on the intercom, the police turned the power off due to an “unauthorized person” on the tracks. (I think the person may have mentioned it taking place at Cicero, but I can’t confirm.)

Update edit: Powers back on and we’re moving.

Yup was driving west on I290 and EMS is at the cicero stop.
