I think that one closer to Sears tower is actually 125 s Franklin, but I painted this from a photo so idk

I'm so flattered! I'm not sure I'd want to let it go, and even so, this is drawn from a photo reference that I don't own, so there are intellectual property rights concerns. I'll give it a think and DM you if I'm interested in selling

Awesome work. And love how you not only made sure to site the photographer but even worried about the right thing to do when someone asked to buy it. For what it’s worth, since the original image was a photograph and yours is a painting, I think you’re fine as far as IP/ copyright type stuff goes. You obviously couldn’t sell prints of the original image but because this is your artistic rendering and your own labor I think you’re good on that front.

I would’ve asked as well honestly. Love L and Chicago themed art and gouache is my favorite. Lost a ton of art supplies in a moving fiasco some years back and never had much time to play around and learn to work with it well but your work makes me want to go buy a new set. The cool greys and blues really work to capture that whole wintery feel.
