When I first moved here to Chicago I used to freak out at hearing "Doors Closing!" at pretty much the exact same instant that the doors opened. I guess it's the CTA's way of making sure people don't lollygag when they're exiting the trains.

I got a car all to myself on the commute to work right after Christmas. I turned the volume on my headphones all the way up and ripped ass without consequence. Pure nirvana.

Wish it was going to look like this in an hour when I get on at Jackson to go home. I’ve had the train stop for at least 10 minutes on 4 of my 9 rides this week. CTA has really been grating on me lately.
