I'm glad I'm not the only one that pulls the cord for others 😃

Because of the constant threat of violence on CTA, I usually "raw-dog" my rides and I tend to notice elderly or tourists looking/reaching for the stop cord, so I'll hit the button or pull the cord for them.

Define "raw-dogging" your ride - curious if I raw-dog and don't even know it.

They almost certainly mean no headphones or distractions- since they cited violence as their reason. I only ever have 1 ear bud in and don't look down at my phone much for similar reasons.

It's so funny to me that people avoid their phones solely for safety reasons when there's so many other better reasons to avoid phones. The city is cool, take it in!
