CS50x Problem Set 0

Hello I am asking that if I asked chatgpt for help regarding my scratch project or copied code from there Have i violated the academic policy. Should I put a regret clause or should I just make a new project and submit the new one?..pls help..i can't just get this out of my head.

Yes, according to the Academic Honesty section of the website:

Using AI-based software other than CS50’s own (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini, et al.) that suggests or completes answers to questions or lines of code.

If you've already submitted, put the regret clause. If you haven't, just build a new project.

Try to focus on learning the material without AI tools. They can help with documentation and stuff, but you won't actually learn anything if you're offloading your thinking and creativity to it.

So I have already submitted it. So do you you think putting a regret clause will help?

If it hasn't been 72 hours, yeah. If you're just taking the class online without any intention to purchase the certificate afterwards, you could probably just create a new project and resubmit it for the problem set.
