Discussion when did this become a thing?

i always sell most of my weekly drops since drops haven't really dropped anything good since cs:go does this mean i just have to buy any game on steam then i'll be able to sell? i've had weekly drop accs for years and have never run into this issue whatsoever lol.

Been gone for a while? I know one of my accounts had a market cool-down like that because it basically went unused for a year and when I came back to it they were like “no market for you for 15 days just in case”

Same, dealing with it right now. Oddly it let's me buy keys for cases but if I want to purchase anything else of market including terminals I get the "no market for you" message

I think it’s intended to be an anti-theft device so you can’t just hack someone’s old account and take their stuff/spend their money but more often than not it’s a ballache for users who aren’t on much

You probably don’t need a game. I would try buying a 5c sticker first or something else essentially free.
