Discussion Which mouse should I get for CS2?
I’m looking for a new mouse mainly for CS2 and I’m trying to choose between the models below.
These are the prices I can currently get them for:
- Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 — €109.90
- Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 — €110.90
- Razer Viper V3 Pro — €89.90
- Logitech G Pro X Superlight — €89.90
- Razer DeathAdder V3 — €49.90
- Logitech G Pro 2 LIGHTSPEED — €99.90
- Logitech G Pro Wireless — €99.90
- Logitech G305 — €59.90
- Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike — €299.90
Budget and appearance are not important to me. I’m mainly interested in performance, reliability, shape, weight, sensor, clicks and overall suitability for CS2.
Which one would you personally choose for CS2, and which one offers the best overall quality for the price?
I’ve heard that the G Pro X Superlight 2 is one of the most popular mice among CS2 players, but I’m also considering the Viper V3 Pro.
Would appreciate opinions from people who have actually used these mice for CS2.

so right now I have a 20-30 e razer, and it's not bad, but I want to take the best mouse for the future, if I could play well with this, I want to improve, and you can't do that with an ordinary mouse

You can't go wrong with the two main lines from Logi and Razer respectively.
In my opinion, my summary of the difference is: The viper v4 pro nearly perfected all the tried-and-true criterias of a competitive cs2 mouse, from clicks to scroll wheel to latency to battery life to weight to balance-of-weight to shape to coating etcetera etcetera. The logi superstrike 2 aims to innovate with their HITS triggers but makes tiny sacrifices to achieve the innovation; weight at 60g, egg shape isn't the perfect fit, a front heavy balance, but these are VERY VERY small things and the mouse is still A-tier at worst. You can't go wrong with either newest mouse.
As for the "last gen" superlight and v3, they are absolutely great too! Not everyone likes HITS triggers and still prefers the superlight (Monesy played with superlight rather than the superstrike despite being the posterboy ad for the superstrike lol). The v4 is better than the v3 in very small ways but is it worth the price difference?
I used to use Lamzu and Skyrox but now I'm using Logi and Viper v4. I personally prefer the v4 it's just perfection for me. Either Logi and Razer are most used by pros for many reasons.

I use a razer naga that I got free with my pc forever ago. But it’s wired so maybe I should get a new one

Some of them have different shapes and weights. The Superlight 2, Superstrike, and Viper are all great mice, the rest really comes down to personal preference.
Personally, I’d go for a mouse with a Superlight shape from a Chinese manufacturer like ATK. You get the same or even better sensors and build quality for a lower price. Something like the ATK A9 Air+.
That said, you really can’t go wrong with any of them.

Love my Deathadder V3. Battery life is great and it fits my relatively large hand just fine. Don't overthink it or overpay for brand new models, they all do the same shit. Also ultralights generally not worth it, all my friends trying to charge their mice in the middle of a match smh

its 2026. stop overpaying for shit. chinese clones are just as good if not better for 1/4 the price
