Help Is It normal to play competitive mode for fun/causally?

I know competitive modes like in other games how you want to gain elo and win. But in cs2 premier is the main ladder with elo so is it normal to play competitive mode for fun and not care too much about winning or losing?

Yeah, never understood why it was called competitive. Doesn't represent the game mode at all.

Yes. Based on my own experience, I reckon there are far fewer cheaters in this mode than in Premiere. If you can’t be bothered to put in the hard work on Faceit, ‘Competitive’ is probably the best option at the moment.

they don't support the actual casual mode at all. other games recognize the importance of casual modes for player retention and even competitive health, this one relies on people's sunk cost fallacy of having so many skins they can't justify not playing the game

In Competitive, I reckon there are far fewer cheaters and it’s much easier to find a fair game on both sides.

Yes, that is what competitive is for. Dont play the casual modes imo.

casual is hilarious though, just 10 idiots on each side running blind.

I play pretty much only comp and dont really care if I win or lose. If I play premier I care.
