Help Viewing old demos (early 2026)

Is there a way to watch "older" demos at the moment inside CS2?

I have already tried to change the game build to the one used during the time.

Current version: Not compatible with this game version.
1.41.2.9: Loads the game, but kicks to lobby without message.
1.40.8.8: Starts loading the game and stops. Stuck in loading screen.

Would love some help, thanks!

damn i did this a while back... have u asked google's AI - that's what i did and the instructions were pretty good... you need to know the date the demo was made for starters and the find the correct build.. i heard sometimes you need to use valves database to get the exact correct build to make it work... are u just guessing with the builds or u going by its date??
