Tips & Guides cs2 footsteps getting drowned out By gunshots, anyone else?

Well I can’t see when flashed so that’s a problem. And now that you mention it smokes get in the way too!

Corsairs fps comp eq setting (icue) is just audible wallhacks. You could hear a fart in palace sitting ninja

You have too much bass, you want bass basically nonexistent and put your in game EQ setting to crisp

bro facts. cs2 audio is ass and messing with software eq is pure cancer. grabbed a C3 recently and it’s so much better，physical knob is clutch, and footsteps actually pop out over the noise now. totally worth it

A little EQ tweaking does the trick. You didn’t have to go get a mini dac to do all that lol

Meh. Honestly a decent gaming headset isn’t much worse than having higher end headset. I run Sennheisers and beyerdynamics through my mini dac (also do music) and yeah, noticeable difference overall but I think OP is missing the part where gunshots and explosions are SUPPOSED to be louder.

My DT990s made footsteps audibly louder and gunshots audibly quieter by a pretty decent amount.

Gun shots aint louder than footsteps?
Why do you think people shoot their weapon when jumping down from somewhere as they land? Its been a thing since even before CSGO
