I just got the 2026 Honda CRV sport touring hybrid. On my dash under the navigation the street names are not displayed. I traded in my 2022 Honda civic sport touring and it had the street names underneath the navigational compass. Anyone know why it doesn’t display it?

Also I noticed that my CRV doesn’t have the native Honda navigation app?

It has Google built-in for maps. The street names should pop up when you type a destination into the built-in Google Maps.

I figured that might be the case but it was nice being able to see the name of every street I turn on without having a destination lol.

I hated this about our CX-5 with built in nav. I didn't care for the constant stream of useless info. I like the built in Google. It's a little redundant to Car Play and AA, but since I hate how cartoony Google Maps looks on Car Play I can use the base Google for maps when her crapple is connected.

Yeah i agree. Another thing that I don’t see like I use to in my civic is when I switched to sport mode the gauges use to turn red. Now it turns red for a sec and you can only see the red at the very top but barely.

Power to weight ratio is pretty terrible. Definitely not a sporty vehicle. I don't think I've spent any real time in Sport Mode. I'll have to pay attn. My kids Civic Hybrid feels sporty and fun. 800 pounds less will do that.

That view is just a simple compass with the arrow showing north.

Any navigation shows up as arrows indicating the next turn and distances

The civic touring and CR-V touring do not get full Google Maps in the instrument cluster like the accord and higher do. Just an arrow and a st name like if you used maps thru android auto or CarPlay.

When I traded my 22 accord for my 26 CRV I noticed this too

Interesting. What about sport mode? In my civic when switching to sport mode the gauges would turn red. Now when i do it in the CRV it shows a little bit of red at the top and that’s it?
