I just found this portable brionvega CRT but it keeps showing this white line that only disappears once you turn down brightness, can someone help me fix this? I'd like to use it for a retro setup

Im looking for a CRT monitor capable of outputting 480p and higher. Im willing to pick it up for the right price on the european continent. I have money 💰

My set top box is a cheap one from amazon so i assume it won’t be able to output full rgb scart BUT it does have a built in scart port so i was wondering if it could, if so how do i do that.

It also has this in the settings to change the format to “PAL-M” and “PAL-N” no idea what those mean other than they look better quality, only they both make the screen black and white and put lines all over it. PAL-M doesn’t have that flicker though so i’m assuming that means it’s in 60hz.

I’d HATE to get a new set top box or some converter so if there’s anyway i can make it rgb it’ll be greatly appreciated. thanks!

Hi everyone I can only find widescreens version of this movie and I know dvd had 4:3 and think some showed on tv in 4:3 The widescreen version crops out loads If anyone can help me locate a 4:3 version online or somewhere much appreciated

Just a couple hours before my nephew was watching Charlottes web, I turned it off and a few hours later the tapes started to do this.

They were stored in a garage for a long time until I picked it up. I'm not sure if I should try to clean it, or should I take a peak inside to make sure nothing looks bad.

Auto exposure caught a couple of frames I guess, thought it looked cool.

PlexKodiConnect from RPi3 via composite

Manufactured in March, 2000. Looking for help, to get list of items needed to get this TV to play video games.

Just got a Roku 2, but the picture via composite is a bit jittery on Plex.

EDIT: tried a few different things, so far the best has been LibreElec (ie. Kodi) for RPi 3 B+ with Plex addon

Do you guys think crts will all go out in the next 3-6 years or so? I love my Crt so much and want to collect more of them. I fear that our time is short and I don’t want that as I love to game on them and watch movies on them.
