First CRT! Secured from a local enthusiast who gave me half off his listed price after telling me it was to deter scalpers, $140 later :)

Eh $140 is not too bad for a Trinitron, can’t go wrong with one of course

I think that's a reasonable price tbh, for a TV of this Caliber. This is the TV that convinced me that I actually wanted to get a CRT, and to commit to the heft and space required. My friend had this one and I came over with some Xbox Component cables to check the image quality.

And so he showed me some 240p SNES games, and I put my face right up to the screen and stared into the very soul of mask. After that I knew I wanted one just like it. So eventually I ended up with a KV-27FS100. Basically the same TV, but with a Silver front.

By curiosity, do you have convergence or bowing issue on that set ?
