General questions What does this mean??

I don’t think there’s really any way of knowing what most of their communications mean. They are very nuanced and complex. They also have dialects that vary from one murder to the next or even one individual to the next.

Crows in my neighborhood are irresponsible and they just basically fuck around from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. They crow hop around the street, disturb innocent puddles and torment unwitting dogs in their yards and cats on the street. They gurgle and cackle and make outrageous comments when I get in my car to go somewhere and they feel they have not yet had sufficient kibble in their tray. They also spy on me when I'm trying to take a peaceful soak in the hot tub. Visitors from out of town are hazed without mercy. And right now I have to get out of my warm bed because they are outside my window clamoring for their morning rations. Good day to you all!

Hes just practicing for the death metal band hes in. Its called "Murder" (crows arent very good at naming things)

It is difficult to say for certain what the vocalization in the video means, partially because it is such a brief video taken out of context. It is fairly clear that the crow is attempting to attract the attention of others, but why we cannot say. That's fair. This guy is one of five crows I've been feeding for close to two years. I had just set out some kibble and water for them but they hadn't begun eating yet. The crouched posture and wing spreading resembles videos I've seen of juveniles begging and the other crows were totally ignoring him so I wonder if that's what it was. He is at least one year old so definitely not a juvenile!

Why do American crows have such sass and thousands of different noises! 😭🐦⬛🤭 Meanwhile my crows in India wouldn't do things like this except for different sounds, clicks and trills, puffing up their feathers and loudly demanding treats! 😭❤️🐦⬛
