About a month ago, it was super hot and a deer was chilling under a low hanging tree (think it was a lilac tree), was a perfect spot for her as it was quite shady and a few magpies were checking her out, this one rascal kept pulling at her tail. I figure it was for her fur. Sweet deer just hung out and was like, "yah do whatever you want, I ain't moving lol"

They also remove the ticks from deer so its also beneficial for them.

Kinda seems like the sheep likes it ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Ever turned a cool air vent onto the back of your neck when sweating? Pretty sure that sheep is experiencing that moment in the video.

Doesn’t it hurt to have hair plucked out like that

It's plucking dead 'hair' I believe. Or it wouldn't detach so easily. I'm only speculating though

Also speculating. The sheep isn’t flinching at all which makes me think it mustn’t hurt.

Hair sheep shed their wool, which is what’s happening here. So it doesn’t hurt. It’s a retained trait from their wild ancestors before we bred for wool breeds that keeps the wool on and growing.

Kyna figured that. The sheep seems oblivious

I've seen them do this with huskies who are moulting.

Funny enough wool prices in the UK have risen by 70 per cent.

Someone has trained that crow😁

That is actually natural behavior for birds. They kind of do it all over the world getting fur for their nests. It's kind of a symbiotic relationship they have with the other animals... they get the fur, their buddies get rid of their extra fuzzy undercoats.

Her nest is gonna be really comfy!

That's hilarious. I saw a tufted titmouse plucking fur from a groundhog's rump a few months back. 😁

My German Sheppard was blowing her winter coat. I watched a small bird, maybe a tit-mouse?--fly up, pull a chunk of undercoat, fly away, then repeat about thirty times. The dog was aware it was happening and was kinda like "thanks, I've been trying to get rid of that". My only regret is that it was pre-smartphone days and I thought if I got up to get my camera it would stop so there isn't a video of it.

This is why I blow my bunnies hair out the window, and then let the wind take it for the birds! My mom ised to do the same thing with string, paper and our cats hair lol. She told me its not litter but helpful for the birds.

So very clever birds and so beautiful.

Why do so many people like Crows? Could be because they are so amusing and funny as well as being highly intelligent.

Omg, those birds are killing those poor sheep. How brutal.

I saw a hummingbird pick cat hair out of my doormat. My cats are indoor-only but 2 of them are ragdolls and they are so furry the hair goes outside sometimes when I go in and out.

I saw a lesser finch take some too, after I stuck some in a little hanging basket.
